A real open-air dump around the Palestra Spettacolo, in via Postumia, where bags of waste and other rubbish lie abandoned for some time, as yet another manifestation of incivility.
An area that is frequented daily by adults and children, who access it to follow courses in the most varied disciplines, and who find themselves having to deal with a situation of great degradation, which extends to the edge of the school field, whose the fence is in turn targeted by uncivilized people, who abandon empty bottles, bags of chips but also more bulky waste.
And the motivational sign that has been standing on the fence for some years now is of little use, and which bears the phrase “This is not a landfill” and just below the question “Would you do it at your home?”, With the indication of the penalties for those abandon waste, from 25 to 300 euros.
But, the gym-goers point out, the weed that invades the sidewalks all around increases the feeling of decay in the area, sometimes making it even difficult to pass. In short, yet another corner of Cremona where the uncivilized seem to have the upper hand.
