Oppo Find X3 Pro, ultra-modern and elegant smartphone

by admin

Today’s level of top-of-the-line smartphones is absolutely remarkable, and this is true of almost every product out there. It could not be otherwise, after all, given the price with which they arrive on the market. Competition is highest among Android phones, where to mark the difference we have now reached a maximum sophistication of the product in the only sector where in terms of results the difference between one model and another can be seen, literally, the photographic one. It is no coincidence, therefore, that the promotional impact built around Oppo’s new flagship phone, the Find X3 Pro, is largely concentrated on the photographic sector. And Oppo certainly has many good reasons for doing so. The main one is that the Find X 3 Pro is the first smartphone to offer the public a double 50 megapixel sensor, one for wide-angle optics, the other for ultra-wide angle. And as if that were not enough there is also a 13 MP telephoto lens, and a fourth camera with a very unique “microscope” function that allows spectacular magnifications up to 60x, not particularly useful but, given that it is there, definitely fun. The photos, therefore, are of excellent quality in every possible light condition, the “night” mode works very well and even in a substantial pitch darkness it is possible to take some images for which something is “seen”. The rendering is extremely natural, the effect of “corrected” photos is almost never created by the software, the colors are very well balanced and in general, even if there are smartphones that enjoy greater brightness, the final result is truly excellent.

Oppo Find X Pro 5G and its brothers: 1 billion color displays and cameras

The video sector is also very good, with the possibility of making 4K movies at 60 fps, using both the HDR and the professional LOG mode. The optical zoom is not particularly interesting, it stops at 2X and the stabilization is very convincing. The four cameras are embedded in the camera body with an absolutely spectacular and futuristic curvilinear design. Design that earned the smartphone the Red Dot Product Design Award 2021, precisely for the innovative ideas it proposes. The device has a pleasant, “spatial” appearance that makes it very modern and elegant, especially for the curve that allows the camera module to be concretely “inside” the device and not protruding and extraneous. The rear panel is made from a single sheet of glass, in a thin frame that has extremely sinuous lines.

The dimensions are large, 163.6 x 74, with a thickness of 8.26 mm, but the curved and non-square design helps to perceive it as slightly smaller, even if it is not in reality, comfortable, however, to carry in pocket and in hand. The display is very good, a 6.7-inch amoled with a QHD + resolution (1440 x 3216 pixels) which, as the advertisement points out, is capable of displaying 1 billion colors. Yes, but who notices it with the naked eye? In a few, perhaps, but certainly also thanks to the native support of HDR10 +, the 10-bit content and a very remarkable brightness, the Find X3 Pro screen is one of the best that can be found on the market today. The operating system is Android 11, customized by Oppo with ColorOS 11.2, which has square icons instead of rounded ones, and beautiful customization possibilities for those who need them, divided into many options, some of which are actually found by thoroughly scanning the system. All supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor, with 12 GB of RAM and a storage space that is not small, 256 GB, but not expandable. The battery is 4500 mAh, not very powerful but equipped with a magnificent fast charge that in just under 40 minutes brings it back to 100% charge. And the IP68 certification is also very positive, which guarantees its resistance to dust but above all its impermeability. In the end, the judgment is much more than positive and the new Oppo flagship deserves all the attention possible. Also because – and it is a significant plus these days – in the package there are charger, earphones and even a cover.
