OPPO Watch 2 is expected to use the new Wear OS market

by admin

Although Android is the mainstream of smart phones, Google has not been able to achieve the same results with Wear OS in the smart watch market. They successfully acquired the wearable device manufacturer Fitbit earlier, and at the Google I/O held last month, they announced their cooperation with Samsung to jointly revive Wear OS, making the outside world full of expectations for the prospect of Wear OS.

At the Google I/O Keynote conference, Samsung has taken the lead in stating that it will adopt Wear OS in future Galaxy Watch products. The latest news from Chinese media indicates that OPPO has similar plans. The OPPO Watch 2 to be launched later is said to have as many as 7 models, including 42mm and 46mm sizes and 6 colors. OPPO will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor for the new watch.

Although Snapdragon Wear 4100 has been launched for nearly a year, most manufacturers still use older Snapdragon Wear 3100 or even 2100 processors, which limits the performance of Wear OS. Google has indicated that the new version of Wear OS needs to work with the latest processors. It is believed that OPPO Watch 2 also chooses Snapdragon Wear 4100.
