According to the instructions of the CTS, the mask can be removed outdoors “except in contexts in which the conditions for a gathering are created (eg: markets, fairs, queues, etc. …)”. People, the note continues, will however always have to carry the device with them so that they can wear it whenever these conditions are created.

Furthermore, the use would remain “strongly recommended” in frail and immunosuppressed subjects “and those who are close to them”. The mask, on the other hand, must always be worn in healthcare environments as per protocol as well as the obligation “in all means of public transport”. With regard to shops, indoor restaurants and the entertainment sector, for the CTS, “the provisions and protocols established for the safe exercise of economic, productive and recreational activities must be respected”, concludes the note.
