Over 2200 watts, standard Netflix and much more: on the Bentley the world’s finest multimedia system

by admin

A long time has passed, since the Bentleys were baptized “the fastest trucks in the world” (they dominated in LeMans with powerful but gigantic machines) and today no one would ever dream of “giving” the truck to a Benyley given the level of refinement tucked between these four wheels. One of them is the new multimedia system with high-definition screens located at the rear of the front seats with Naim for Bentley audio, the most powerful in the world.

The sound can be streamed via Bluetooth to the headphones supplied with the car or to customers’ personal headphones. Alternatively, the sound can go directly to the audio system with record power of 2,200 watts. Not only that: Over-The Air software updates (but this is a common thing in the industry) ensure customers can stay abreast of the latest technological advances in the future while a clever concept with the name “bring your device” allows customers to easily stream content from their smartphone, computer or tablet directly to the Bentley Rear Entertainment system with minimal effort and without the need to connect via cable.

The entertainment experience also includes two 10.1-inch high-definition screens fixed to the rear of the front seats. The screens are removable and use graphics with a resolution of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. And then, as long as both the device and Bentley Rear Entertainment are configured on the same Wi-Fi network, passengers can interact with their chosen app, e.g. Amazon Prime, Disney +, Youku or Apple TV, content can be viewed on the Bentley system’s touchscreens.

Mirroring from the customer’s device is now also possible with Bentley Rear Entertainment displays. This useful feature mirrors an exact copy of the screen of a mobile device, including pop-ups, notifications and screen rotation on the 10.1-inch screen that equips the car. And Netflix is pre-installed too: you will then be able to access the platform without the need to stream from your personal device.
