From Friday 15 October the gymnasium of the “De Lollis” secondary school is closed.
This was communicated by the head teacher Grazia Angeloni in a note from the comprehensive school 1 signed after the communication from the technical office of the Municipality of Chieti: “Access to and use of the gym with annexed rooms used as changing rooms and toilets was forbidden to protect the safety of all people “, it says.
The representatives of the parents of the kindergarten, of the Nolli primary school, of the De Lollis lower secondary school therefore wrote to the Municipality of Chieti to ask for information on the times required for carrying out the work necessary to restore the gym premises.
The parents, who specifically turn to the councilors for sport, education, public works and the mayor, intend to emphasize “the primary and therefore indispensable need for children and young people to carry out physical activity”.
