Private or public: a question of ethics?

There is always the question of whether private or public is a question of ethics – especially in the healthcare industry. It is often argued that paying out returns to investors deprives social health insurance of funds that should actually benefit patients. Is that really true? Aren’t financial investors more interested in the long-term increase in the value of their investments than in short-term distributions? Isn’t it therefore more important for them to invest profits in the investment companies?

There will be many hot topics on the agenda at the HEALTH ECONOMY CONGRESS 2024, including this important ethical debate, emphasizes health entrepreneur and congress president Prof. Heinz Lohmann. An open and clear exchange of positions is always better than an ideological exchange of blows.

More than 900 responsible players in the healthcare industry will meet again at the HEALTH INDUSTRY CONGRESS 2024 on September 18th and 19th in Hamburg. More than 260 speakers and moderators will actively participate in around 45 sessions. All central topics in the healthcare industry will be on the agenda at the congress.

Current information about the HEALTH ECONOMY CONGRESS 2024 on September 18th and 19th in Hamburg and direct registration, at the early bird rate until June 9th, 2024, can be found at any time at: www.gesundheitswirtschaftskongress.de
