Psoriasis: discomfort beyond the skin for 1 million and a half of patients

Not just the face, but the eyelids, ears, lips, skin folds, hands, feet, nails and scalp. Psoriasis can show itself in many parts of the body causing a discomfort that is difficult to imagine when one thinks that it is only a dermatological disease. In reality, those who suffer from it – in Italy about one and a half million people, in Europe 14 million cases and 125 million in the world – must face possible other diseases (such as cardiovascular or joint pain) and heavy repercussions on daily life.
