Working in synergy with manufacturers, from Acer to Samsung, from HP to Microsoft, Qualcomm’s goal is to impose these standards in mobile computing, making the interior of devices as uniform as possible and leaving companies free to focus on aesthetics and the form factor, or at most the operating system.
