With this aim, Gemelli Isola Spa, a Benefit Company created by the Agostino Gemelli IRCCS University Polyclinic Foundation, takes over the management of the Fatebenefratelli hospital from the Generalate of the Hospital Order of San Giovanni di Dio, as part of the rescue and relaunch operation of the structure supported by SIT – Società Isola Tiberina.

The planned interventions

The new management, in addition to guaranteeing the sustainability of the structure, will have the objective of enhancing the existing skills and integration with the know-how and high professionalism of the Gemelli IRCCS University Hospital Foundation. “Several infrastructural interventions are planned, including the restructuring of the beds dedicated to the NHS in five years, the opening of new operating theaters, the renovation of the area dedicated to solvent patients, the improvement of the common areas and the reception and treatment paths.
