Last night I followed the Russian attack on the nuclear power plant in Ukraine with great attention. I was on my feet because I was assisting a group of very young researchers from my hospital, the Casa Sollievo della Soflievo in San Giovanni Rotondo, who were working to try to extract the brain stem cells that we use to develop therapies against neurodegenerative diseases.
