Doctors said Stoynova was in serious danger of dying when she was taken by ambulance to Frimley Park Hospital in May last year. It was at that moment that the 39-year-old decided to start chemotherapy. And now she’s in remission.

“Now I tell people that the side effects of chemotherapy are a child’s play compared to the side effects I got from trying other types of treatment. I had cut out consultants and everything about standard medicine but I almost lost my life,” she said.
