It looks like Ubisoft is gearing up to reveal some details about its pirate game Skull and Bones, as the game has been rated both by the ESRB, and a recent report by Tom Henderson (via the Try Difficulty guide) ) said a “re-release” was planned for early July.
The ESRB’s age rating gives the game a 17+ maturity rating for its blood, strong language, suggestive themes, drug use and violence. The game is said to have in-game purchases, and as for what players will be doing, we’re told in the accompanying description:
“This is a naval action game where players take on the role of a wrecked outcast on their journey to become a pirate captain. As players take on quests, they can explore settlements and engage in dramatic naval battles.
As for the re-revealed report, Henderson simply said it’s set for the week of July 4 and will see Ubisoft slapping the actual release date on the game, as well as showing off some gameplay.
When it debuts, Skull & Bones will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
