No alarms, but an imperative: be ready in case of need. On Friday morning, May 20, the Lombardy Region’s Directorate-General for Welfare took stock of the cases of monkeypox – so far three – registered in Italy.
The good news is that, at the moment, infections in the Bergamo and Lombardy areas are excluded. In any case, Pirellone has “activated its own monitoring system to monitor the possibility of cases emerging”.
