PlayStation announced on its official Twitter account that it will hold a 40-minute online launch event with the theme “Looking forward to the future of PS5” on September 9th (10pm Hong Kong time). Sony revealed that the content released includes updates to the studio PlayStation Studios, and will preview games that will be released during and after this winter holiday.
Some foreign media estimated that Sony will announce the PS5 system upgrade plan by then. The update has been beta tested for a period of time. The content includes support for M.2 SSD, improved user interface and added 3D sound support for the TV’s built-in speakers.
