Medicine test? What a headache. But here it is finally possible to breathe a sigh of relief for the many aspiring students of the faculty: not only in Trieste but in all Italian universities. We’ve been talking about it for a while but now it’s official: stop at the entrance test. The rules of access to the faculty therefore change, with a new path that can also be started from the fourth year of high school. This was declared by the minister of the University Maria Cristina Messa, a guest at the end of May at “The Breakfast Club” on Radio Capital.
These are the words of the minister: “From next year there will be no single entrance test for the Faculty of Medicine. There will be a path that can also begin in the fourth year of high school, where students can try their hand at the test up to four times and enter the ranking with the best result. Each candidate makes his own path that leads him to take a Tolc exam, it will be called Tolc-Medicine. It can be done several times a year starting from the fourth year of high school. Then, on the date that the ministry will establish, everyone enters the best result in the platform and the national ranking will be formed. Places will be assigned according to the availability of the universities and the preferences indicated by the candidates“.
