Microsoft Wallet (Wallet) and timeline will also be removed, but the timeline in Microsoft Edge will remain. Microsoft will also remove the math input panel, and users can install Math Recognizer instead, which has built-in math input control and recognition functions.

In addition, the “Start” menu and taskbar have some adjustments, including the removal of dynamic bricks from the “Start” menu, and no longer supports named application groups and folders. The taskbar can only be aligned at the bottom of the screen, and the app in the taskbar cannot be resized. When upgrading from Windows 10 to 11, the pinned apps and websites will no longer be upgraded.
