Technology and innovation for digital transformation: Gioin restarts from Food

by admin

The last year has seen epochal changes in all production areas, with an acceleration of digital transformation: technology and innovation will be essential for companies to be protagonists in the post-pandemic world. To accompany them in this delicate moment and create a bridge with the startup ecosystem, Digital Magics announces the sixth edition of the GIOIN series of events, organized in collaboration with Gruppo 24 ORE.

Launched in 2016, GIOIN (Gasperini Italian Open Innovation Network) proposes a series of events to provide tools, support and suggestions to face the new paradigm changes and bring Italian companies closer to the ecosystem of talents and innovative startups.

GIOIN is focused on sharing concrete experiences and “case histories”: in every meeting, in addition to discussing innovation, thanks to the contribution of studies and research, entrepreneurs and startuppers are involved who are putting into practice the paradigm of Open Innovation in their sectors.

The 2021 edition will be held online and includes 6 events, from March to November, dedicated to specific sectors: FoodTech and WineTech, Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability & Circular Economy, FashionTech, HealthTech, 5G / IOT Innovation. To these is added an ecumenical event in June, the Open Innovation Summit, which will bring together the protagonists of the innovation ecosystem: institutions, associations, companies, universities and startups.

Ā«The last year has reminded everyone of the importance of knowing how to adapt, of being open and ready for continuous innovation, as well as of the fundamental role of technology. All characteristics that have always been typical of startups – said Layla Pavone, Managing Director and Chief Innovation Marketing & Communication Officer of Digital Magics -. As Digital Magics we strongly believe that traditional companies can benefit from the skills and innovative ideas of startups and that startups can benefit from the experience of more traditional or already established companies. With the GIOIN events we want to connect these two worlds to encourage the birth of new synergies and at the same time offer all participants food for thought on technological innovation in some key sectors for the Italian economy “.
