TechTalk with Maximo Ibarra, head of the B20 task force for digital transformation

by admin

Maximo Ibarra, former CEO of Wind Telecomunicazioni and then of Wind Tre, is the head of the B20 task force, the most authoritative of the Engagement Groups set up by the G20 and has the aim of formulating policy recommendations addressed to the rotating presidency of the G20 in a wide range of strategic sectors. Reserved for companies and their representative organizations, the B20 has on average over 1,000 delegates from the G20 countries, including the top management of the main multinationals, and about 3,000 total participants representing a business community that has a total of over 6.5 millions of businesses. That B stands for business and in this case it means nothing more than business. They are the largest companies in the world which, together with the representatives of the trade associations, draw up point by point the measures to suggest to the governments of the G20 countries to make the economy grow – in their opinion. The objective, not too hidden, is to condition the choices of the executives in order to create a global environment that is as favorable as possible for companies.
