Tennis, Alcaraz beats Sinner and is in the Indian Wells final

(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 17 – The Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz defeated Jannik Sinner in three sets in the semifinal of the Masters 1000 tournament in Indian Wells, California. The blue won the first set 6-1 and then lost the second set 6-3 and the third set 6-2. With this result, Sinner’s attempt to climb to number 2 in the world ranking, currently occupied by Alcaraz, failed. The string of victories for the Italian tennis player, who was still undefeated in 2024, thus stops at 19. (ANSA).
