Three million to the province of Cremona for the creation of Community Homes and Hospitals: the amount, allocated by the Lombardy Region, is part of the investments for the first implementation of the territorial expansion that anticipates the National Resistance and Resilience Plan.
At the regional level there are one hundred million foreseen by the Extraordinary Plan, approved today by the Lombardy Region Council on the proposal of the Vice President and Councilor for Welfare, Letizia Moratti. Of these, 43 concern territorial structures. The enhancement of territorial medicine, said the vice president, “is the first step that aims to enhance territorial and proximity medicine through the strengthening and improvement of structures, machinery and technologies, and the offer of services. An important step also because all investments in technologies will contribute to reducing waiting lists ”.
Specifically, through the allocations provided for in the resolution approved today, the following are financed: regulatory compliance measures for approximately 6 million euros; technological enhancement for approximately 6.5 million; interventions for the psychiatric services network for about 10 million; additional funds for the completion of Niguarda for 11 million; first allocation of 2 million for the start of the construction of the Center for the study and prevention of infectious diseases; 21 million as the first co-financing of the interventions of the health building plan of 1.35 billion euros (national funds article 20 of law 67/1988).
