Independent game studio Cyan announced that a new version based on “Myst” will be released on Steam, GoG, and Epic Games Store on August 27, and will support Valve Index, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift Virtual reality (VR) device.
The “Island of the Mist” series, which launched its first works in 1993, is a classic adventure game. Players will come to beautiful islands to explore multiple ending stories. Last year, the game team announced the launch of a new version, which will be redesigned and built using Unreal Engine, and supports VR technology, and is the first to be launched on the Quest platform.
Today, it was officially announced that the new version of “Island of the Mist” will be on the Steam platform on August 27, and support Mac systems; and for VR devices, support for Valve Index, HTC Vive, etc. is also expanded.
