The new season of the ‘Ferrari Esports Series 2021’ will kick off in April. Last year, the men of the prancing horse explained during an online match, over 20,000 competed from all over Europe. The final victory went to 21 year old Giovanni De Salvo. Also this year the game on which the tournament will be played will be ‘Assetto Corsa’ by Kunos Simulations, with the drivers who will be able to compete with four Ferrari cars, two of which are available exclusively to those who register for the series: the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo and the brand new Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo. Ferrari will in fact offer the winner the opportunity to become a professional sim driver by providing a place in the ‘Ferrari Driver Academy Esports Team’
How does it work
The qualification phase will begin in April with the pilots who will have to compete in four ‘hotlap’ sessions to select the participants in the qualification races that will take place from 5 April until the end of July. The best 48 sim drivers will then have access to the second part of the tournament, which will take place from the end of August to November. The season will culminate with the challenge between the top 24 drivers who will take part in the ‘Grand Final’, scheduled for mid-December, with three races that will award the title of champion of the ‘Ferrari Esports Series 2021’. All races will be streamed on the Ferrari Esports Twitch channel on the last Tuesday of each month from the end of August until the end of the season.

How to participate
Registration will therefore be open from 21:00 today 16 March on the official website www.ferrariesportsseries.gg for all European citizens of age (including the United Kingdom).
