Wellness, fitness and sport are the key elements chosen by the Italian Army for participation in the 15th edition of “Rimini Wellness”, the trade fair event organized in the Romagna city from 24 to 26 September 2021, a traditional appointment dedicated to the world of wellness declined in all its forms. In the exhibition area inside the exhibition center (Piscine Est), coordinated by the “Emilia Romagna” Army Military Command, the Army has set up a “military fitness” path in which visitors can try their hand, under the watchful eyes of the instructors of the 186th “Folgore” parachute regiment of Siena, in dynamic and aerobic exercises with backpack, which reproduce the daily training of the soldier. The circuit consists of a series of vertical and horizontal obstacles, as part of a course characterized by increasing difficulties, to be overcome in motion, combining qualities of speed and agility.

Among the novelties of this edition, the presence of Radio Army, the web radio of Forza Armed, born in June 2019 within the studios of the 28th operational communications regiment “Pavia” of Pesaro. The radio station, entirely managed by military professionals in the sector, will exceptionally broadcast from the exhibition area, from 09.00 to 18.00 on the three days of opening to the public, thus giving the fitness people the opportunity to see speakers and audio technicians in action with the stars, leaving dedications and musical proposals. Army Radio, “the radio that marches by your side” broadcasts in streaming on the website www.esercito.difesa.it, as well as on the main radio agglomeration apps and platforms, ways that make it easily accessible by listeners through their mobile devices.

A promotional Infoteam will provide information on the career opportunities of the Army as a volunteer in fixed position (VFP1) and on the competitions for access to the “Nunziatella” Military Schools of Naples and “Teuliè” of Milan, the Military Academy of Modena and the NCO School of Viterbo. As part of the contact activity, the “Military Magazine” will also be promoted, a periodical that since 1856 tells the evolution, history, values, traditions and commitment of the Italian Army at home and abroad.
