The Italian Tech Academy is underway, for the skills of tomorrow

All Italians have very clear in mind that without digital skills you can’t go anywhere (83% of those interviewed in the SWG survey for Italian tech on tomorrow’s job declared, with a peak of 93% among those who still have to debut in the labor market). But it is one thing to know, the other is to acquire the right skills: only with some specific digital skills, in fact, we will have a reasonable certainty of finding a job and then, if we don’t like it, to change it. An avalanche of studies has certified that in certain sectors there are hundreds of thousands of jobs just waiting for someone to step forward. Offering everyone educational courses that increase our chances of finding work and changing it whenever we want is the goal of the Italian Tech Academy, which was born on April 29 at the Talent Garden in Rome Ostiense.

IT Academy powered by the Academy’s Talent Garden will offer a range of courses, capable of bridging the digital skills mismatch that prevents companies from finding suitable candidates for the many positions available.

The school is managed by Riccardo Luna, director of the GEDI Italian.tech hub. The initiative will be presented by Maurizio Scanavino, CEO of the GEDI Group, and by Davide Dattoli, president and co-founder of Talent Garden, during the “Digital progress. New skills for the future of work “, on 29 April at Talent Garden Roma Ostiense, which will see the participation of representatives of institutions and companies, including the Minister of Labor and Social Policies Andrea Orlando and the Minister for Innovation Technology and the Digital Transition Vittorio Colao, interviewed by the director of la Repubblica Maurizio Molinari and by the director of La Stampa Massimo Giannini.

More specifically, here are the first three training courses in the Italian Tech catalog, arising from the analysis of the main gaps detected on the labor market in the country.

  1. the Coding Bootcamp, a full immersion to become professional in the 3 most requested coding stacks;
  2. the master in Content Science, a path created with the aim of describing the processes, tools and channels to create successful content marketing strategies;
  3. the master in Digital Sustainable Management, designed to provide digital tools for the management, creation and development of a sustainable mindset and management.
