It was supposed to be a leisurely and comfortable trip to space, but it turned into a completely out-of-control AI mutiny. The “waiter” who was pouring wine for you the moment before suddenly started chasing you down!
“First Class Trouble” is a social deception-type party game, which means that communication with other players is the key. Unfortunately, this also means that you cannot trust anyone. The situation seems to be a hundred thousand rush, chaos is about to break out, but don’t panic (even if you are on fire or pushed into the pool)! We have sorted out some moves to help you escape the clutches of CAIN.
Survival guide for AI mutiny
Let’s start with the basic introduction part: at the beginning of the game, players will be randomly assigned to the roles of residents or humanoid robots. Residents are human passengers, and humanoid robots are machinist assistants whose programs have been rewritten.
Although you are all in the same game, you have different goals because of different roles. From here on, you will be faced with major choices: work together or intrigue?
The main goal of the residents is to shut down the mutinous AI located in the center of the Alithea. In order to reach the location of CAIN, you must collect three key cards to go deep into the next level of the spaceship.
As for the humanoid robot’s main goal is simple: stop the residents at all costs. In other words, you have to lie and deceive, and finally get rid of all the nasty humans on the boat.
In “First Class Trouble”, in addition to many potential crises (guaranteed “indispensable”), deception is probably the deadliest weapon among them. Who is the one you can trust? Should you follow the players who asked you to help and complete cooperative tasks together? Will they invite you to enter the urn?
Only you can decide, but here are a few key points to help you:
Residents need oxygen to survive. Find the oxygen cylinder and hand it to the designated oxygen supply station to replenish the oxygen on the ship. Humanoid robots do not need to breathe, and are capable of destroying the above-mentioned oxygen station, so be careful of suspicious people hovering near the oxygen station.
Humanoid robots are liars, and they push unsuspecting residents into the fire or lock them in the cold storage room whenever they get the chance. However, humanoid robots can also use a syringe to kill residents in one shot at close range. So if you see other players holding syringes, you’d better tighten your nerves!
Each level requires three key cards to move to the next location. In order to prevent residents from advancing, humanoid robots can use their key cards to hide away. But pay attention. Players can see who is holding the key card, so holding the key card for too long will cause suspicion.
There is no need to rush to complete the level. Explore around to find fragments of residents’ logs. Each segment will reveal more information, pointing out who the humanoid robot is.
There are areas in the game that require teamwork to complete the goal. Humanoid robots that work together may gain the trust of residents. But this is only possible. After the player is killed, the corpse will remain to form evidence. If the humanoid robot is smart, it must hide the body as soon as possible, and prevent residents from using the autopsy to find out their identity. By the way, remember that I said before “to be pushed into the pool”? Compassionate players can drop floating objects to avoid drowning. They are so nice!
