This will be the central theme of the sixth Regional Symposium which this year is entitled “The patient at the center between doctor and right care”.

The Symposium will be held Saturday 30 October at the congress hall of the Hotel La Torre di Mondello in Palermo, with interventions that will range from the diagnostic approach, to the various surgical, laparoscopic and laser techniques.

“The task of the ASCOP association will be to promote the constant scientific and technical updating of doctors – Dr. Caruana explains – with the aim of improving the quality of health care to guarantee citizens and the community, spreading the most recent information on the medical and surgical profession on this branch and the results of the most current scientific research “.

But not only. The association is also among the objectives of promotes scientific research and technological innovation and to encourage the exchange of professionalism in Italy and abroad, facilitating and promoting cultural and professional interrelationships between doctors.

Scientific promotion that will also be articulated through an editorial activity for the dissemination of knowledge and scientific evidence in this field, favoring the creation of means of dissemination and information and collaborating with those already existing.

The event is accredited by the National Commission for Continuing Medical Education and will allow participants to achieve 9 training credits.
