At the proposal of the Piedmont Health Councilor, Luigi Genesio Icardithe regional council approved the extension to 15 September for the administration of anti Covid vaccines in pharmacies.

The execution of anti Covid-19 vaccination services in pharmacies still responds to the need to ensure a local assistance service, intercepting the needs related to the health of citizens in the area “.
“The extension of the service provided so far by pharmacists – he observes -, agreed with Federfarma Piemonte and Assofarm Piemonte, it is now more useful than ever, given the current downsizing of the number of vaccination hubs and above all in relation to the fact that the staff engaged in vaccination at public facilities, once the emergency is over, is was brought back to its original activities, also in terms of the reduction of waiting lists “.
The supplementary protocol, signed last June 20 between the Piedmont Region, Federfarma Piemonte and Assofarm Piemonte, will be in force from July 1 to September 15 and will maintain the recognition of the sum of 6 euros, VAT exempt, already provided for by the national framework agreement for the administration activity and the fee of 3 euros for the expenses relating to the organizational functions.
