At the Imid 2021 fair which was held at the Korea Exhibition Center in Seoul, Samsung showed a prototype of a smartphone with a two-fold display, capable of taking the shape of an “S” thanks to the double hinge. The OLED screen, when fully extended, can reach a size of 7.2 “. The one on display at Imid is a model still far from commercialization, which however provides more than a clue about the future of smartphones. Samsung recently instead launched on the market the folding Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
