The uncomfortable question to Elon Musk about confidentiality agreements with Tesla beta testers

by admin

During his speech at the CodeCon conference held at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, Elon Musk also answered questions from reporters from the audience. One of these concerned the alleged NDAs (Non disclosure agreements, in practice confidentiality agreements) that some beta testers would sign with Tesla.

According to Vice, these Tesla-selected drivers – many of them Youtubers – would undertake to try the FSD (Full Self-Driving) Beta system as long as they do not talk to the media about it, not to get journalists in the car and to share about social media in a “responsible and selective” way. “Don’t forget that many people would like Tesla to fail” was written to these beta testers.

FSD Beta technology, despite its name which refers to a complete autonomous driving of the car, actually offers a level 2 of autonomous driving that requires the driver to be alert, to maintain contact on the steering wheel and to intervene if necessary. .
