The world’s lightest 5G mobile phone Sharp AQUOS zero6 released

by admin

After launching a mobile phone cooperating with LEICA earlier, Sharp announced another new machine AQUOS zero6 yesterday, which is known as the lightest 5G smartphone on the market, and it has both a large-capacity battery and a large-size screen. AQUOS zero6 measures 158 x 73 x 7.9mm, weighs 146g, and has a built-in 4,010mAh battery.

Sharp chose a 6.4-inch OLED water drop screen for AQUOS zero6, with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080, a refresh rate of up to 240Hz, fingerprint recognition at the bottom of the screen, and protection with Gorilla Glass Victus reinforced glass. The body is also IP68 waterproof and dustproof. AQUOS zero6 is equipped with Snapdragon 750G processor, with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage (supports up to 1TB microSD expansion), preloaded with Android 11 system. The AQUOS zero6 has a 12.6MP front selfie lens, and a four-lens camera on the back, consisting of a 48MP main camera, 8MP wide-angle, 8MP double zoom and ToF lens. Sharp said that the new machine supports 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band GNSS, NFC, etc.

However, Sharp said that AQUOS zero6 is the lightest 5G mobile phone, which is actually a trick, because the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini weigh 135g and 141g respectively, but the screen size of the two is indeed relatively small, and the battery capacity does not exceed 2,500mAh. In addition, having plug-in card expansion is an additional condition for Sharp’s lightest 5G mobile phone. Sharp AQUOS zero6 accepts pre-orders through Japanese telecom companies from now on. It comes in three colors of black, white and purple. The price is 74,880 yen (equivalent to HK$5,221).
