As kids we loved lounging in bed until 10 or 11 in the morning. And even more, if mom didn’t come and throw us out of bed! Light dinner

Digestion takes time. At least 3 hours must pass between dinner and bedtime. If we lie down immediately after eating we will feel heavy.

Eating habits

Generally prefer foods rich in iron and magnesium, not only at dinner but also during other meals. Green light therefore to fish, fruit and vegetables and excellent nuts as a snack.

Remember that breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it serves to reactivate the metabolism. If we skip it, by mid-morning our body will go into a reserve of energy and this increases the stress hormone thus causing nervousness and headaches.

Don’t overdo the coffee

For us Italians, coffee is a real pleasure that we can hardly do without. There is no need to give it up but it is important not to overdo it. The maximum suggested is 3 cups a day and, preferably, no later than 2 pm.
