These are virtually ignored and little known symptoms but could indicate a silent type of tumor

by admin

We know that the body always tries to communicate with us to try to make us understand when there is a problem. For example, in our previous article “Many think it is caused by hemorrhoids but instead it could be the symptoms of a hidden tumor”, we touch on exactly the same topic. And we do this by explaining in detail what the differences between these two problems could be and how not to get confused, so that we can better explain to your doctor. In this article, the purpose is pretty much the same and we look at a different type of cancer that is quite rare and that not everyone is familiar with. In fact, we will talk about soft tissue sarcomas, a very little known cancer of which not many have relevant information.

These are virtually ignored and little known symptoms but could indicate a silent type of tumor

Let’s try for a moment to understand exactly what we mean when we talk about soft tissue sarcomas. First of all, it is a tumor and, as we have already mentioned, it is quite rare. As the tumor progresses, malignant cells form, as can be easily understood from the name of the pathology, in the soft tissues. They can form in different parts of the body and we can find about 50 different types. For this reason, it is also difficult to immediately identify the problem and be able to give a certain and rapid diagnosis. The fact that it is a tumor that can start in multiple parts of the body certainly makes the doctor’s task difficult. Most sarcomas form in the abdominal area or, in other cases, in the limbs. So surely the symptoms that a person affected can have are concentrated in these two macro-areas.

Here are some of the symptoms that may indicate the presence of soft tissue sarcomas

Let’s start with the tumor located in the abdominal area. As the AIRC explains, in fact, there are some signs to recognize the onset of this problem. For example, you may feel a strong sense of fatigue combined with a rather constant swelling. In addition, one should lose the urge to eat and, in rare cases, there may also be blood in the gastrointestinal area of the person involved. If we go instead to the area of the limbs, we should notice some swellings in the different areas involved. And we can see that they are practically ignored and little known symptoms but could indicate a silent type of tumor. In these cases, of course, it does not mean that having one or more of these symptoms automatically confirms the presence of this fear.

Indeed, unfortunately, these are quite common signs, which can also occur when you have other health problems. But, in fact, they are not very well known in relation to soft tissue sarcomas. What we can do, as we always should, is ask our doctor for a meeting and some clarification. Being an expert in the field and knowing our body and our health, you will surely be able to understand what is happening and if there is a real need to be alarmed or not.
