This is how Sassoli described his illness: “Affected by legionella pneumonia”

David Sassoli, president of the European Parliament, died at the age of 65 from a serious form of immune system dysfunction. In November 2021, after being admitted to the hospital in Strasbourg, he explained his illness on social media as follows: “I was struck by a nasty Legionella pneumonia. The doctors, whom I thank, advised me to investigate”.
