For those unfamiliar with it, it is a condiment used mainly in Japanese cuisine, with a strong flavor and dark color.

In recent years this seasoning, as well as oriental dishes in general, has become very popular. For this reason the tamari is more and more loved and appreciated. Not everyone knows, however, that it is an ingredient with a high salt content and consequently sodium. If taken regularly or without moderation, there could be problems for those with hypertension. It is, to all intents and purposes, an extremely salty sauce and, as such, it should not be underestimated in any way. The advice, as always, is to consult with your doctor and understand together how much to take and how often.
