BRINDISI – On 27 October, an operational meeting was held between the Equal Opportunities Commission of the Municipality of Brindisi and the Local Health Authority to take stock of some aspects concerning health care aimed in particular at women. In previous meetings with the members of the Commission, the health director, Andrea Gigliobianco, and the director of the socio-health district, Angelo Greco, represented the ASL. Since September 2019, the date of the first meeting, the discussion has never stopped. Despite the emergency, the meetings also continued online, to give answers to some of these posts by the Commission: application of Law 194 on pregnancy interruptions, improvement of the organization of family counseling centers and the initiation of the necessary interventions to guarantee childbirth analgesia in Perrino hospital in Brindisi.
Andrea Gigliobianco underlined that “the path taken in recent years with the Equal Opportunities Commission of the Municipality of Brindisi has been particularly constructive. The central theme was that of women’s health and the discussion was aimed at monitoring projects and objectives. of the Asl of Brindisi.
