Change at the top of the Treccani Futura company: the Presidency of Massimo Lapucci confirmed, while Massimo Bray, current Director General of the Istituto dell’Encyclopedia Italiana, joins the Board of Directors of Treccani Futura together with Lorenzo Franchini and Fabio Di Gioia, respectively Head and Senior Investment Manager of CDP Venture Capital’s Boost Innovation Fund. Andrea Dusi, who until now has accompanied the development of Treccani Futura as CEO and co-founder, leaves his position due to previous international commitments and passes the leadership to Cristina Pozzi, formerly Coo – Head of Contents and co-founder, remaining a member of the Board of Directors of the company.

Treccani Futura increases its capital and launches the new industrial plan, born from the partnership with Cdp Venture Capital, to accelerate and strengthen the strategic role of the educational technology pole of the Istituto dell’Encyclopedia Italiana in the school sector, increasing the quality of the offer training and information for students and teachers.

Cdp Venture Capital, through the Boost Innovation Fund, the corporate venture builder who co-creates new startups or new strategic operational areas with companies within existing entrepreneurial realities, has participated together with the Institute of the Italian Encyclopedia, through the investee in Treccani Scuola, in the recapitalization of Treccani Futura which completed a capital increase of 7.65 million euros.

Treccani Futura will develop digital content within its platform aimed at school-age children: courses for teaching, orientation and tutoring, as well as a specific section of news and current affairs for correct information. The platform will also feature training tools dedicated to teachers.
