The Florentine company Treedom, which deals with planting trees remotely in environmental and social sustainability projects, announced a 10 million capital increase thanks to a number of VIP investors, including the Formula 1 world champion, Nico Rosberg, and the captain of the Italian national football team, Giorgio Chiellini. Investors also include the holding company Exor NV, Dvr Capital and the global platform Ourcrowd, as well as Luigi de Vecchi, Andrea Guerra, Giovanni Moratti, Allegra and Alessia Antinori and Pietro Valsecchi; global investment of new shareholders is 7 million, in addition to the 3 from Banca Generali.
After the headquarters in Germany, Treedom has recently inaugurated that of London, by the end of the year will open a Paris and ad Amsterdam, while in the first 6 months of 2022 it is expected to open a New York. At the moment there are over 76 employees: another 22 hires are expected in the next 12 months.
