Umbria opens an illegal gymnasium and collects citizenship income

For three years he had been collecting his citizenship income because he was unemployed on paper. But in the meantime he had opened a gym in Acquasparta. For this reason a forty-year-old from Terni was denounced by the carabinieri of Terni.

The investigation conducted by the military would have in fact made it possible to ascertain that the man, class 79, originally from Terni but resident – in fact – in Acquasparta, from 2019 received the subsidy but also illegally managed a motor activity center, set up in a building of property of the mother, who, following investigations, was found to lack the necessary certifications.

The man was therefore also charged with an administrative fine of 3,300 euros for the lack of forwarding of the certified notification of the start of activity (Scia) to the Municipality of Acquasparta which, with its own ordinance, ordered the closure of the center. Furthermore, the Terni labor inspectorate was activated for the revocation of citizenship income and the recovery of sums unduly received.
