University of Calabria, green light for the degree course in Medicine

L’Anvur, the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System, yesterday, gave the go ahead for accreditation at the Ministry of University and Research on the new inter-university degree course in Medicine and Digital Technologies that the University of Calabria will also set up on its Arcavacata campus.
An important goal, in fact, which leaves the professor more than satisfied Nicola Leone, rector of the University of Calabria, and professor Giovambattista De Sarro, rector of the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro.
The course belongs to the class of master’s degrees LM-41 (Medicine and Surgery) but allows the student, with the passing of a few additional exams, to obtain a double degree at the end of the six-year cycle of studies: master’s degree in “medicine and surgery “(LM-41) and a three-year degree in” computer engineering “- bioinformatics curriculum (L-8).
