Vaccines, AstraZeneca changes its name and thrombosis cases appear in the leaflet

ROME – AstraZeneca’s anti-Covid vaccine has changed its name to «Vaxzevria». The change of name was approved by EMA on 25 March following a request from the Anglo-Swedish pharmaceutical group, the website reads
of the European drug agency, in which the new drug leaflet was also published. Among the side effects, the very rare cases of thrombosis are added.
