Vaccines: ECDC, first data from 10 countries, prevent severe forms – Medicine

(ANSA) – ROME, OCTOBER 11 – The anti-Covid vaccines have shown 90% efficacy in the first 6 months from the second dose of vaccine in preventing severe disease and hospital admissions: this is indicated by the first partial data of the ” analysis conducted by the European Center for Disease Control (ECDC) through the creation of new infrastructure to monitor the effectiveness of anti-Covid vaccines over time in multiple countries, implementing studies in various facilities, including hospitals.
