The mayor Gualtieri and the councilor Alfonsi

“With this new fitness area we offer a new possibility to practice outdoor sports and to be together in a truly unique setting. I thank Councilor Alfonsi, the President of the VII Municipio Laddaga and the Committee for the commitment they carried out until the opening of this new space, less than a month after the start of the works. We strongly believe in sport and it is our intention to encourage it, to give everyone the opportunity to access a healthy and social practice and to make many areas of our city beautiful and vital ”, declared the Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri.

“With the inauguration of this fitness area at Parco della Caffarella we are launching a plan of similar interventions that will concern parks, historic villas and gardens throughout the city. We are working to redevelop green areas with all-out interventions concerning the care of vegetation, trees, reforestation, the renewal of furnishings and structures. We do it in the awareness of how much the usability of well-kept and well-kept green spaces is important for the quality of life of the neighborhoods and of the city and with attention to all age groups of those who frequent them: from the smallest, with a commitment to the restructuring and construction of play areas, to the elderly to whom we provide areas for aggregation and relaxation, to our four-legged friends with dog areas equipped with agility courses and to sportsmen, for whom we have thought of a specific plan for areas dedicated to fitness ”said Councilor Alfonsi.
