Will the year 2022 mark the end of the pandemic?

“If we put an end to inequality, we also put an end to the pandemic.” This is the end-of-year statement by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO). The expert confirms his confidence that 2022 will be the year in which we will be able to put an end to the pandemic, but only if “we will all do it together”. The message of good wishes is based on challenging new goals, including that of vaccinating 70% of the world‘s population by mid-2022.
