NVDIA launched the new 472.12 version of the driver on September 20, supporting Windows 11 for the first time, and adding DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) to 28 games, which will use deep learning to increase the frame rate of games with lower frame rates. , Without reducing the picture quality, giving players a better playing experience.

Alan Wake Remastered will support DLSS next month. NVDIA stated that when DLSS is enabled on the GeForce RTX GPU, it can maintain a frame rate above 60 at the highest 4K image quality.

As can be seen in the above figure, after Alan Wake Remastered is turned on DLSS, the lowest-configured RTX 2060 GPU has improved from 34 frames to 68.3 frames at the highest 4K quality. RTX 2080 Ti, 3070 Ti, 3080 and 3080 Ti have an average of 120 frames after DLSS is turned on.

The new 472.12 version of the driver will be optimized for 28 games including Alan Wake Remastered, Hot Wheels Unleashed, Deathloop, Diablo II: Resurrected, World War Z: Aftermath. The total number of games that support DLSS exceeds 100.
