Windows 11, released in June of this year, will be officially launched on October 5th. In the past few months, Microsoft has increased the minimum system requirements, which has caused a lot of headaches for many users who do not plan to upgrade their computer hardware. The Verge website recently discovered that when users try to install Windows 11 to a device that Microsoft judges to be incompatible, they still have a chance to install it successfully.
When installing Windows 11 on a computer that is not recommended, a warning window will pop up to remind users that compatibility issues may occur. If the user continues to install Windows 11, the computer will lose support and no longer get updates. Computer damage caused by incompatibility will not be included in the manufacturer’s maintenance. In other words, if the user knows that the device does not support it, and still insists on installing Windows 11, he will be at his own risk.
