by admin

The Chinese manufacturer Vivo and Carl Zeiss together for the “perfect shot”: a few months after its debut in Europe and Italy, the fifth smartphone manufacturer in the world (400 million customers in 40 countries) is back with a new top of the range, the X60 Pro 5G, which boasts a photographic sector created in close collaboration with the historic German company and with performances defined as “almost professional”.

Perfect example of Vivo’s Benfen philosophy, according to which the manufacturer focuses its efforts on “doing the right thing at the right time”, the new phone is an expression of the investments that the company has been investing in research and development years ago, relying on approximately 10,500 employees working in 10 R&D centers in as many cities around the world (such as Shenzen, Tokyo and San Diego).

How the new X60 Pro 5G is made
Returning to the new flagship, the X60 Pro 5G is also and above all the first fruit of the collaboration with Carl Zeiss and was created to allow users to take pictures and make professional-level videos using the 2 rear cameras: a main lens with a 48 sensor. megapixel (F / 1.48, 25.2mm, Af, Gimbal + Ois), a 13 Mp super wide angle (F2.2, 16mm 120 °, 2.5cm Super Macro, Af) and a 13 Mp telephoto lens (F2.46, 50mm portrait, Af, 2x optical zoom), to which is obviously added a 32 Mp front.

The main camera is also the one that can count on the new Gimbal Stabilization System 2.0, the second version of the 4-axis stabilization system for images (and 5-axis for video), which according to Vivo would improve the performance of the Ois system by 300%.

The wide focal aperture F / 1.48 and a new AI noise reduction algorithm are the features that allow the adoption of the Extreme Night Vision 2.0 function, thanks to which accurate night images can be obtained. Then there are the Super Night Portrait function, which when photographing against the light illuminates the subject without overexposing the background, and Panorama Night Mode, to optimize panoramic photos when light is low. The equipment is completed by Ultra HD Pixel Shift technology, which increases the precision of colors and details and the sharpness of the zoom.

Under the “hood” there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset with 5G connectivity, on which runs a version of Android called Funtouch OS 11.1. Available in 2 colors (Midnight Black, which weighs 177g and is 7.59mm thick, and Shimmer Blue, which weighs 2g more and is 2mm thicker), the X60 Pro 5G has Ultra O Amoled displays from 6.56 ”with 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz response rate, features that contribute to making the user experience fast and fluid.

On sale since June, the X60 Pro 5G costs 799 euros in the version with 256 Gb of internal memory and 12 Gb of Ram, plus another 3 that can be added from the Rom through a specific settings item.
