Carmela Palumbo, regional supervisor, ensures. “Between today and tomorrow, the appointments of 59 new school managers in the Veneto region”

TREVISO Sixteen posts as dean still to be filled in the Marca. And the case, worthy of underlining, of the Comprensivo-2 Serena di Treviso: from 1 September, due to the transfer of the owner Lorella Zauli to Romagna, the fourth manager will take office in two years.

Going further back, it will be the fifth change since summer 2018, that is, from the departure (after a long stay) of the principal Michela Busatto. In other words, a rather troubled path. Among the other boxes to be filled, Giorgi-Fermi does not go unnoticed: Maurizio Curcio, who arrived two years ago in via San Pelajo, will move from next month to Calabria, his homeland.

But the resumption of teaching is less than a month, it is inevitable to ask a question: when will the gaps be filled? “Between today and tomorrow, the principals will be appointed, drawing on the list of 59 newly hired employees who have applied for the Veneto region”, explains Carmela Palumbo, manager of the Regional School Office, “But within the week we will also complete the regencies ».

Going into more detail, the day before yesterday was the deadline granted to managers to express their preferences (12 options allowed) among the offices currently empty. Then we will proceed with the appointments: it is possible that we will arrive at the formalization of the assignments as early as this afternoon.

In addition to the Compensivo Serena and the Giorgi-Fermi institute in Treviso, the Conegliano-3, Montebelluna-1, Vittorio Veneto-1, Follina-Tarzo, Mareno-Vazzola, Preganziol, Santa Lucia, Casale are currently discovered. , Resana, Volpago, Quinto-Morgano and Pieve del Grappa. At the level of superiors, the managers of the Ipsia Galilei of Castelfranco and the Munari artistic high school of Vittorio Veneto are still missing.

But, as already highlighted, the story of the Comprehensive Serena does not escape. The current manager Zauli, originally from Romagna, has obtained the transfer to “his” Forlì and from 1 September will lead the Ruffilli professional institute. She had moved to the Marca in the summer of 2019, when she was entrusted with the Comprehensive of Istrana, of which she maintained the regency in the following school year. The job at the Serena had arrived twelve months ago, but the experience was short, in the wake of previous management.

After the departure of the manager Busatto, the 2018-2019 school year had seen the regency of Luisa Mattana, already at that time head of the Riccati. Then, from the following summer, Leonardo Gulotta took over: a parenthesis that ended in a few months, so much so that already in March 2020 the Sicilian manager had obtained the transfer to Pantelleria.

Afterwards, for the last portion of the year, the institute was once again guaranteed the regency of Mattana. The rest is recent history: the year of Zauli and, in the next few hours, the appointment of a successor.

With the hope that the institute can find continuity. Side note: the Comprensivi di Resana and Preganziol await the successors of Stefano Marconato and Francesca Mondin, chosen in recent weeks to direct rrespectively Duca degli Abruzzi and Riccati due to the retirement (from September) of Antonia Piva and of Mattana herself.
