a court of Ecuador convicted five people for the illegal trafficking of a ton of marijuana that was found by authorities in April of last year.

The drugs, found in a home in the town of Huaquillas – The Best of Huaquillasin the coastal province of Goldbordering Peru.

He Court of Criminal Guarantees of that province sentenced, this Wednesday, February 28, to 21 years of prison to the accused identified as Victor G., because he was a repeat offender. While Jhony C., Yonker V., Manuel C. y Yoel P. were sentenced to 17 years and 4 months of custodial sentence.

The Prosecutor’s Office indicated in a statement that the court ruling observed a series of evidence presented by the Public Ministry.
