44 young people receive the BancaTer Scholastic Merit Award for their commitment and profit in studying

UDINE. Since its establishment, BancaTer Credito cooperativo Fvg recognizes and values ​​the commitment and profit of young people in studying with the “Scholastic Merit Award”.

44 young members and children of bank members, graduates or graduates with full marks, who were awarded as many scholarships of up to 750 euros for their brilliant results achieved during the school / academic year 2019-2020 in the most varied disciplines (13 graduates, 13 with university degrees and 18 with specialist or five-year degrees).

“A recognition of their determination and a way to make the value of merit understood in the study and, by extension, in all areas of life, knowing well how much excellence can affect the growth of a territory”, explains the president Luca Occhialini .

“Rewarding young people who have decided to invest in their future, completing their school paths with commitment, dedication and passion, means giving support and trust to future adults who will bring these values ​​also into their work and their lives”, says Sara De Luca, from Remanzacco, graduated in Functional Genomics at the University of Trieste, awarded by BancaTer, like Andrea Castellucci, a codroipese, graduated in Banking and Finance at the University of Verona.

“I appreciate the spirit of the initiative and the idea of ​​rewarding young people who have distinguished themselves in the study, giving value to the meritocracy that is not always recognized today,” comments Castellucci.

The awards ceremony of the 2020 edition took place in the conference room of the BancaTer di Codroipo branch, in the presence of the president Occhialini, preceded by a training session coordinated by coaches Giovanni Tavaglione and Andrea Grizonich, which saw the involvement of 4 representatives of the youth group BancaTer shareholders: Laura Buttazzoni, Alberto Ecoretti, Emiliana Pontonutti and Emanuele Tomic.

The aim of the initiative was to provide participants with the elements to better face a job interview or an exam, also with the help of practical tests and interactive moments.

«Useful and interesting», for Castellucci. “An opportunity to get to know yourself, your professional aspirations, strengths and weaknesses”, observes De Luca.

«The enhancement of young people in the area is not a trivial matter, especially in the current context – Buttazzoni underlines -. BancaTer is committed to providing the new generations with opportunities for growth and opportunities to be active protagonists of their own future.

And the group of young members proves it: we are ready to make a difference for and with the young people of the area ».

BancaTer has already allocated 30 thousand euros for the 2021 edition of the “Scholastic Merit Award”.

“BancaTer continues to have an eye for the younger generations – our future -, which” follows “from school to entry into the world of work with ad hoc solutions designed to enhance profit in studies, help students achieve their goals, to be close to young entrepreneurs ”, highlights Occhialini.

Alongside the “Scholastic Merit Award”, with “University” the institute offers university and postgraduate students a tailor-made package of products (account and financing), with many concessions and a series of services, and accompanies young people in the launch phase of its business through “Factory”, which allows under 35s to do business in fully equipped premises made available free of charge in Udine and Gorizia, for up to two years.

Finally, young members under 35 have the opportunity to participate in the activities promoted by the BancaTer Group of young members, made up of young people from the bank’s area of ​​competence, who collaborate with each other to offer their peers to participate in the social life of the credit cooperative.
